Good Neighbors Bangladesh delivers immediate humanitarian responses for the children and families who have lost their homes by natural disasters or unexpected conflicts. Good Neighbors Bangladesh also implements long term reconstruction project with the local communities to recover their ordinary lives quickly beyond temporary emergency relief. Good Neighbors Bangladesh helps the children affected by disasters with reducing psychological distress through providing child-friendly spaces and children group work programs against PSTD (Post Traumatic stress Disorder)

Good neighbors Bangladesh also has been working with communities’, children and women to build up the capacity on disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, and effective humanitarian response. We mounted major responses to disaster starting from the 1996 cyclone to the recent 2017 humanitarian crisis in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar and we have the capacity to respond to any disaster which puts children and women at risk.
