Good Neighbors (1991) is an international humanitarian, development and non-governmental organization with membership in General Consultative Status in the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). Winner of MDG 2 award 2007 and UNESCO-Hamdan Prize for Teacher Development 2024, Good Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) is operating 17 Community Development Projects (CDP) in 13 districts for child protection, education, health, women empowerment, income generating activities, DRR and Rohingya emergency response activities. Project Name: Stronger Together : Community Resilience through Inclusive Approach Project

Project Location: Shyamnagar Upazila-Sathkhira District (Poddo Pukur & Koikhali Union)

Project Duration: 3 years (subject to availability of funds and donor confirmation)

2. Basic Requirement:

Education:

  • M. Com/ MBA in Accounting/Finance/ Management from any recognized University. If Individual have any extra professional degree on Accounting/Finance shall get preference.

Age: Minimum age 30 years and maximum age 40 years (as on 31st May 2026).

Experience:

  • At least 2 years relevant experience in NGO/INGO sector.

Other Requirements:

  • Sound knowledge on the organizational values, gender equality, child protection, and safeguarding policies
  • Sound knowledge of internal control systems, donor & regulatory compliance, and financial regulations.
  • Speaking & writing skill in English and report writing in both Bangla and English
  • Proven experience in planning, budgeting, financial management, Audit, Financial Motoring procedures.
  • Commitment to promoting positive image and visibility of the organization

3. Contract Information:

Salary and Others: Consolidated Remuneration Tk. 50,000 (per month). 15 days paid leave excluding public holidays and training opportunities for career development.

Probation Period: 06 months (Job confirmation/ extension of probation period /Job discontinuation based on performance evaluation of the probation period)

4. Job Assignment in Brief:

I. Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead project budgeting, financial planning, and expense analysis to ensure effective and compliant financial management.

II. Administrative & Logistical Support

  • Organize project meetings, orientations, and coordination sessions.
  • Manage logistics for trainings, school awareness activities, and staff events.
  • Arrange venues, materials, transport, and refreshments for all events.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure timely distribution of project materials.

III. Procurement & Assets Management

  • Support procurement processes as per organizational policy.
  • Maintain accurate records of project assets and equipment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of goods and services.

IV. Financial & Operational Support

  • Assist in EFT processes for FbF beneficiary support.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, payments, and audit documentation.
  • Provide logistical support for surveys and audit activities.

V. Field Coordination & Monitoring

  • Coordinate field activities including mock drills, installations, and renovations.
  • Support disaster warning dissemination and volunteer mobilization.
  • Maintain communication with local government bodies, service providers, and communities.

VI. Documentation & Reporting

  • Ensure proper documentation of meetings, trainings, and distributions.
  • Assist in developing communication materials and impact stories.
  • Prepare and submit administrative reports to HO and project management.

5. Capacity Requirement:

  • Ability for financial report analysis, identifying financial irregularities and investigation
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving ability and proactive work attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work during emergencies and peak project activities
