We at Good Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) deeply appreciate donors’ generous contributions toward our mission. As a nonprofit organization, we strive to maintain transparency and accountability in the handling of donations.

1. General Policy

  • All donations made through GNB’s online payment gateway are considered final and non-refundable.
  • However, under certain specific circumstances, we may consider a refund request in good faith.

2. Refund Eligibility

A refund may be issued if:

  • A donation was made by mistake or in an incorrect amount.
  • A duplicate transaction occurred.
  • There was an unauthorized or fraudulent transaction.
  • A technical error resulted in an incorrect payment.

3. Refund Request Procedure

If you believe a refund is warranted, please contact us within 7 calendar days of the donation date, providing the following details:

  • Full name of the donor
  • Date and amount of the donation including the online payment receipt
  • Transaction ID or payment reference number
  • Reason for requesting the refund

4. Processing Refunds

  • Refunds will be made only after thorough verification and approval by the finance team.
  • If approved, refunds will be issued via the original method of payment.
  • Processing time is typically 10 to 15 business days, depending on your bank or payment service provider.

5. Changes to the Policy

GNB reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on GNB’s website with the revised effective date.
