Good Neighbors (1991) is an international humanitarian, development and non-governmental organization with membership in General Consultative Status in the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). Winner of MDG 2 award in 2007, Good Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) is operating 17 Community Development Projects (CDP) and 5 Projects with Specific Program (PSP) in 13 districts for child protection, education, health, women empowerment, income generating activities, DRR and Rohingya emergency response activities. 2. Basic Requirement:
Education: Graduate/Post Graduate in Finance/ Business/Accounting (with honors) from any recognized University
Age: Minimum age 25 years and maximum age 30 years (as on 31st May 2024)
Experience: Minimum 2-year experience in relevant field (experience with only evidence and relevance will count).
Skill: Computer knowledge (MS office), Valid driving license (Motorcycle)
3. Contract Information:
Salary and Others: Consolidated Remuneration Tk 17,000 (per month). Plus 100% festival bonus, 15 days paid leave excluding public holidays and training opportunities for career development.
Contract Period: 1 years (including minimum 3 months’ probation period), Extendable depending on performance evaluation
4. Job Assignment in Brief:
· Mobilize and strengthen the cooperative and Income Generation Activities (IGA) through regular field visit and monitoring.
· Maintain all account books/registers/ledgers through check daily expenditures, vouchers, requisition and daily transactions.
· Supervise and lead the Co-operatives for sustainability.
· Entry all kinds of accounting adjustment transaction in software.
· Prepare account financial reports – daily, weekly, monthly & yearly.
· Maintain the efficient networking and partnership with local government, local leaders and non- governmental organizations.
· Administrative cost control through cost-effective management
· Effective team management to keep members involvement and motivate for IGAs.
· Assist for the development and implementation of cooperative activities
· Active engagement in cooperative focus activities and women empowerment.
· Regular reporting to supervisor/manager and Head Office.
5. Requirement:
· Proven capacity and experience of cooperative activities.
· Commitment to cooperative principles and values
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
· Basic managerial capacity to build and manage a team and to work with and without top-down supervision
· Ability to understand the human rights aspects of the women.
· Experience at NGO/INGO on income generating activities, will be given preference.
