Good Neighbors (1991) is an international humanitarian, development and non-governmental organization with membership in General Consultative Status in the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). Winner of MDG 2 award 2007 and UNESCO-Hamdan Prize for Teacher Development 2024, Good Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) is operating 17 Community Development Projects (CDP) and 1 Project with Specific Program (PSP) in 13 districts for child protection, education, health, women empowerment, income generating activities, DRR and Rohingya emergency response activities. Good Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) intends to recruit suitable personnel for the following positions:

2. Basic Requirement:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Mass Communication & Journalism, Media Studies, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field. Master’s degree in a relevant discipline will be considered an added advantage.

Age: Minimum age 25 years and maximum age 35 years (as on 30th November 2025).

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in communication, media, social media management, graphics designing, video editing, website designing, branding, or content development (NGO/INGO experience preferred).  

Technical Skills:

  • Computer knowledge (MS office)
  • Strong skills in content writing and editing (English; Bangla added advantage).
  • Experience in managing social media pages (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, blog, TikTok etc.).
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, PhotoScape, InDesign, Canva or similar tools).
  • Basic videography and video editing skills (e.g., Premiere Pro, Filmora, Camtasia or similar tools).
  • Photography skills – capable of capturing high-quality photos in field and event settings.
  • Basic understanding of web design / website content management (WordPress or similar CMS is an advantage).
  • Ability to design newsletters and reports in print-ready and digital formats (PDF, e-newsletters).

Communication & Soft Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (and Bangla, if required).
  • Creative thinking and storytelling ability.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency.
  • Good coordination skills with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to travel to field locations when needed.

3. Contract Information:

Salary and Others: Consolidated Remuneration Tk.26,626 (per month). Plus 100% yearly bonus (after probation period), 15 days paid leave (after probation period) excluding public holidays and training opportunities for career development.

Probation Period: 6 months (Job confirmation/ extension of probation period /Job discontinuation based on performance evaluation of the probation period.)

4. Key Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop communication materials (online & offline)
    1. Prepare leaflets, brochures, posters, banners, roll-ups, flyers, factsheets, pad, business card, logo and other IEC materials as per project and organizational needs.
    2. Ensure all materials follow organizational branding and are delivered within agreed timelines.
  2. Strengthen organization visibility & branding
    1. Plan and implement a yearly visibility plan (campaigns, key days, events) aligned with the communication strategy.
    2. Ensure consistent use of logo, colors, fonts, and key messages across all communication channels.
    3. Organize and manage campaigns on digital platforms.
  3. Graphic design & layout
    1. Design social media posts, infographics, posters, banners, newsletters, and reports using graphic design tools.
    2. Ensure designs are creative, inclusive, and aligned with branding guidelines.
  4. Website & web content support
    1. Coordinate with IT / web developer to update website content regularly (news, stories, reports, photos, publications).
    2. Provide web-ready content, images, and graphics.
    3. Support basic web design/layout (if required).
  5. Manage organizational SNS / digital platforms
    1. Regularly update and manage official social media pages (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Blog etc.).
    2. Prepare and schedule content calendar (monthly/quarterly) including posts, videos, infographics, and stories.
    3. Monitor engagement (reach, likes, comments, shares) and prepare simple analytics reports with suggestions for improvement.
  6. Design and produce quarterly newsletter
    1. Collect content (articles, photos, case stories) from projects and departments.
    2. Draft, design, and finalize quarterly newsletters in coordination with relevant teams.
    3. Ensure timely distribution (print and/or digital) to stakeholders and donors.
  7. Support preparation of Annual Report
    1. Coordinate with departments to collect annual data, success stories, achievements, and photos.
    2. Draft and edit content sections (project highlights, impact stories, statistics, messages).
    3. Support layout and design of the Annual Report, ensuring professional and reader-friendly format.
  8. Content development: case stories & impact stories
    1. Identify and document success/impact stories from the field in coordination with project teams.
    2. Write clear, engaging case stories and human-interest stories in English and Bangla (if needed).
    3. Publish stories on SNS, website, newsletters, and share with donors/partners as required.
  9. Photography & videography
    1. Capture high-quality photos and videos of project activities, events, field visits, and beneficiaries.
    2. Organize and maintain a proper digital archive of photos and videos with captions and consent records.
    3. Support basic video editing for short clips, reels, testimonials, and social media content.
  10. Stakeholder communication & sharing
    1. Share key communication products (newsletters, reports, case stories, videos) with donors, partners, and other stakeholders.
    2. Support event communication (program briefs, press releases, invitations, social media live updates).
  11. Internal coordination & compliance
    1. Work closely with project teams, M&E, program, and management for timely collection of content and information.
    2. Maintain confidentiality and ensure communication follows organizational policy and ethical standards.
    3. Maintain and ensure the data protection and security of the organization.

5. Capacity Requirement:

  • Creativity with a strong sense of visual communication and storytelling.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and maintaining brand consistency.

  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work closely with program, M&E, and management teams.
