π‘ Why This Matters
Bangladeshβs coastal populations face mounting challenges from rising seas, soil salinity, and climate-induced disasters. The CHRETC project places women at the center of change, not only as beneficiaries but as leaders in climate-smart agriculture, economic empowerment, and sustainable ecosystem management.
By combining evidence-based research with community-led solutions, this initiative creates a scalable model for coastal resilience that can inspire global action.
Special thanks to Good Neighbors Canada for their support from the project design phase to the awarding process. We look forward to their expertise and technical guidance for the successful implementation of the project.
Together, we are advancing climate resilience, gender equality, and social justice for a sustainable and secure future. π
